Family Member Animal Hospital is proud to work with Jan Cook, Dr Gunckel’s mother and NADOI (National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors), to provide dog training services to our clients. With years of dog training under her belt, she enjoys engaging clients and helping them to fully enjoy their pets. A 4-H leader for over 45 years, she loves working with people and animals alike. In addition to training dogs, she worked with Guide Dogs for the Blind, raising puppies for the program.

Jan’s services are customized for your dog and your lifestyle to help you achieve your specific goals. Her aim is to improve the quality of life for both pet and owner through building strong partnerships with our animals.

It’s common for new puppy parents to need a little extra guidance teaching their littlest family member how to behave inside and outside the home. It would be wrong to think that an old dog can’t learn new tricks though! Pets of all ages can benefit from training with Jan.

For owners whose dogs struggle with obedience, such as not coming when they’re called or poor kitchen and table manners, these sessions can be a lifesaver. Other behavioral training includes conformation handling, agility, tracking, weight pull and problem solving.

Jan offers classes at Family Member Animal Hospital by appointment, please feel free to contact Jan directly at 970~356~2564.

Family Member Animal Hospital is proud to partner with Jan Cook to provide dog training in the Loveland, Fort Collins, Drake, Estes Park, Windsor, Johnstown, Berthoud, Longmont and Greeley communities.
